On September 29, 2022, the China-first Inland 120TEU with Pure Electric Propulsion built by our company for Jiangsu Ocean Shipping was delivered and sailed smoothly.

        The vessel is designed by Wuhan Yangzi Shipping design company based on maximum navigation standard. It will drive propulsion with pure power to load containers, sailing in Suzhou area. It becomes the biggest inland pure electric driven container with length of 79.92m, breadth of 12.66m and depth of 3.6m.

        The ship is designed with pure electric propulsion with high safety lithium battery as energy carrier, container battery as power source, equipped with three 20 feet of container batteries with a single container battery capacity of 1540kWh, nominal battery voltage of 637.56V, using "plug and pull" mode of electric change. It can realize "zero emission and zero pollution" in the whole voyage. Ship endurance is 220km; The rated power of the main propulsion motor is 660kW and the rated voltage is 380V. The containerized mobile power supply has been certified by China Classification Society for the first time.

        The ship is a key project of scientific and technological innovation of Jiangsu Port Group, which provides an optimal solution to the environmental pollution and carbon emission problems in inland ship operation. At the same time, it also plays a very important leading role in strengthening the protection of the Yangtze River, accelerating the development of green port and navigation, and helping the realization of the "double carbon" goal in our province.
