
On April 28th 2013, the 78m ASD Ocean Safety Standby and Support Vessel was successfully launched. With the cooperation between Zhenjiang Shipyard and CIESCO, it is built for Singapore FALCON Energy Group. After the launching ceremony, Zhenjiang Shipyard has signed a big order worth of 150 million USD with other ship-owners from Singapore.
Actually, these orders represent the upgrade products of ocean engineering vessels in Zhenjiang Shipyard. These vessels focus on the latest requirement of ocean oil drill to ocean engineering vessels and integrate the functions of rescue, fuel supplying, ocean firefighting and accommodation etc. Their capacity is big enough to let S92 and S61 take off and land. Equipped with DP2 system and ASD propulsion, they are featured by a maximum lifting capacity of 100 tons and can meet the requirements from ACCU, MLC-ACCOM and GP. They represent a new generation of ocean engineering vessels with international advanced level.
